Royal crush

Light and pretty is the head that wears the crown

BY ANAHITA MOUSSAVIAN

Wear your inner princess on your sleeve. Or on your head. This season is all about tiara-topping your look, and the runways were filled with twinkling options aplenty. Even Roberto Cavalli — a brand synonymous with sex appeal — gave his girls a romantic rocker vibe with gold-gilded crowns. Nina Ricci’s cage hats offered a more abstract and avant-garde variation, while Louis Vuitton’s girls made like modern-day Disney princesses in sparkly Swarovski crystal classics. And why not dare to wear? Pearly tiaras are the stuff fairy tales are made of.
