"The Nets," Johnson said Friday when asked which team is New York's best. "Definitely the Nets."
Johnson was unveiled alongside Deron Williams -- with the Nets calling them "Brooklyn's Backcourt" -- Friday afternoon at Brooklyn's Borough Hall.
The 6-foot-7 shooting guard has been one of the game's premier scorers for the past several seasons with Atlanta, who dealt him to the Nets on July 2 for a package of players with expiring contracts -- Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar and Johan Petro -- plus a signed-and-traded DeShawn Stevenson and Houston's lottery-protected 2013 first-round pick. The six-time All-Star has averaged 17.8 points over the course of his 11-year career with the Celtics, Suns and Hawks.
