There are a few universally accepted human truths -- water is essential to life, pancakes always taste better when dad flips them, "America's Funniest Home Videos" is never not funny and Johnny Depp is the nicest guy in Hollywood.
Yesterday Johnny reinforced that fact when he stopped by a British classroom to fulfill a fans wish. Nine-year-old Beatrice Delap has written Johnny's "Pirates of the Caribbean" character, asking for his help staging a 'mutiny' against her schoolteachers since he was in the neighborhood filming "Pirates'" swashbuckling sequel, "On Stranger Tides."
That's when the actor, dressed in full Captain Jack regalia, made an unannounced visit to the classroom and set off a chorus of shrieks. "He gave me a hug and he said, 'maybe we shouldn't mutiny today 'cos there are police outside monitoring me," Beatrice told "London Tonight."
