If Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber had gone looking for fame and fortune in 1987, they might have ended up on the Sunset Strip looking like this. Wannabe rock stars can get their hair metal on thanks to Trash & Vaudeville (the stars of the live Broadway show “Rock of Ages” get their duds there), so we used the East Village mecca and other rockin’ emporiums to dress up our own version of “Rock of Ages” characters Stacee Jaxx and “streetlight people” Sherrie and Drew, who don’t stop believin’ in the dream.
