Flying with Suri

Tom Cruise got in some quality time yesterday with his daughter Suri. Cruise was spotted taking the 6-year-old on a chopper ride from the West 30th Street heliport. Meanwhile, Suri’s mom, Cruise’s ex-wife Katie Holmes, was spotted walking to spin class at SoulCycle. Cruise flew to New York from Los Angeles this week to see Suri after wrapping up shooting on his latest movie, “Oblivion.” After reports surfaced that Cruise had abandoned his daughter in the care of her mother, his lawyer, Bert Fields, made clear in a statement yesterday: “Until this week, Tom was shooting a film on location, but he spoke to Suri every day . . . Tom dearly loves Suri, and the last thing he would ever do is abandon her.”
