Jessica Simpson's pal Ken Paves may be hair today, gone tomorrow

Sources say execs at VH1 are trying to reduce the role of Jessica Simpson's flamboyant hair dresser in "The Price of Beauty," which features Simpson, her friend Casey Cobb and Paves, as they travel the world discovering how tastes in female perfection differ. "Ken went along on the trip to do Jess' hair, but it was impossible to get him out of the shot when taping began," said one source. Paves is barely shown in promos for the show, which premieres Monday. "They don't want people to think it's a show about a hair dresser." But a VH1 spokes man said. "The show is about Jessica and her two friends. Ken is a part of the storyline."
