Cyndi Lauper’s car was pulled over by the cops on the West Side Highway as she filmed with a camera crew. Lauper, shooting her WE TV series, was on her way to TriBeCa’s Il Mattone for a dinner on Tuesday night, but, a source says, “her SUV was pulled over by the NYPD for a routine check. After seeing Lauper in the car with a crew, the officer told them he was in the TV business for a decade before he chose to join the NYPD.” After checking the driver’s ID and registration, they were back on their way.
