The family of the Rikers Island correction officer clinging to life after being hit by a tree in Queens Sunday is blaming the rail-freight line that owns the land.
"We're beyond furious. The tree was dead," Michael Rypkema said yesterday.
His sister, Donna, was struck in the head Sunday.
New York and Atlantic Railway did not respond to requests for comment.
