FOOD Network, that bastion of good taste, is getting down and dirty.
The network is entering the competitive-eating fray with a new series, "Eat the Clock," in which contestants from two teams will gorge themselves at LA-area restaurants (all for the glory, of course).
The show is said to combine elements of "The Amazing Race" with your standard-issue eating competition, according to trade reports.
