WENDY Williams has passed her audition.
"The Wendy Williams Show," hosted by the outspoken WBLS radio personality, will return in "mid-2009" after garnering solid numbers on Ch. 5 during its six-week summer tryout (which ends Friday).
The show is expected to air on Ch. 5.
It's scored solid numbers, particularly among young women viewers - a demographic valued by advertisers.
"Everything about the Wendy preview clicked for our stations, from conception to promotion to hitting the air," said Fox TV Stations programming exec VP Frank Cicha.
The show's six-week limited run also included stations in LA, Detroit and Dallas.
